Download - 5D Designer Demo

Uninstall - If you have dowloaded a previous version of 5D Designer Demo, you need to uninstall it before installing this version. The simplest way to do this is to press the Start button and select 'All Programs / 5D Designer Demo / Uninstall 5D Designer Demo'.

Download - To download 5D Designer Demo, press the underscored Download and follow these instructions.

Operating System - It is assumed that you are using either the Microsoft XP or Vista operating system with the standard Microsoft web browser. If you are using a different operating system or browser, what you see after pressing the underscored Download may be different.

After pressing underscored Download a small window should open where a choice of Run or Save is offered. If you do not want to save the install program on your hard drive, press Run.

After the file has been downloaded, a security window may appear where you have the choice of Run or Don't Run. Press Run to start the install process. For Vista an additional window may appear, the User Account Control, where you have the choice of Cancel or Allow. Press Allow to start the install process.

Design OverView

Creating a photo-realistic design is very easy using 5D Designer since there are only four parts to creating a Design.

   Import Background Picture - The output of any digital camera can be used as a background plus image       files created by other software, in standard formats, can also be used.

   Outline Texture Areas - Areas can be outlined and filled with patterns from the texture libraries. Examples       are ground cover, pavers, exterior siding, interior flooring and walls.

   Add 2D and 3D Objects - Items can be placed on top of the background picture and textured areas from the       2D and 3D object libraries. Examples are plants and other items associated with landscaping and items       associated with interior decorating.

   Print Design - Designs can be printed to show others your design ideas or an output file can be created to       be transmitted to others.
